We are looking for a Frontend Engineering Team Lead to join in our Athens office, managing our awesome people. </p> <h2><strong>The Wow</strong></h2> <p>The Engineering Team Lead assists the Engineering Manager with building high-performance teams by leading a team of highly talented people, ensuring everyone has the right environment and platform to succeed in their career as well as fostering a healthy team spirit and culture. To effectively lead a team, the Team Lead needs to have an active role as a hands-on member of the team, participate actively in the team's activities and take ownership of the team's performance.</p> <h2><strong>A taster of what you will be involved with: </strong></h2> <ul> <li>Building a team with the right mix of skills and knowledge through recruitment, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Building and evolving our multi-brand Frontend Platform using a micro-frontend architecture and web components so teams can ship independently. TypeScript and RxJS / Signals for reactive and robust UIs, and Playwright for end-to-end automation tests.</li> <li>Direct line management of people in the team, being accountable for their performance, satisfaction and career development planning.</li> <li>Driving and facilitating the team's delivery to production in terms of both time and quality, taking responsibility to ensure the team makes commitments and lives up to expectations.</li> <li>Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration and passion for quality in our products.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What we are looking for</strong></h2> <ul> <li>A strong Frontend Engineering background and experience with TypeScript / JavaScript and Observable technologies (RxJS / Signals).</li> <li>Ability to efficiently review PRs and provide constructive feedback</li> <li>A good understanding of Agile Methodologies.
